MWCA Exhibitor Table Information & Application

2008 Shows: RENT PER TABLE $40.00. ($50.00 non-member) or $50.00 at check-in. No one day rentals. ALL FEDERAL AND STATE REGULATIONS MUST BE OBSERVED. Your application will not be accepted without remittance included. Confirmation can be assumed if your application is not returned. If you want written confirmation, enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope. If you require electrical service, there will be an additional charge to you determined by the facility.

TABLE DISPLAY RULES: 100% ARMS AND ACCESSORIES. (Refer to list on reverse side.) Remittance MUST accompany application. To qualify for refund on tables cancelled, you must cancel by Monday prior to public opening of the show.

Note: While the show management recognizes the need for some exhibitors to break down prior to the close of the show (Sunday, 3:00 P.M.) we ask that you remain in place the entire show hours as a courtesy to the paying public. Exhibitors who make early departures will be located in an area where their exit will not have a negative effect on the show, or may be denied a table(s) at future shows.

At the request of the State Fire Marshall, all table drapes must be flame retardant.


ARTICLE VII Show Rules of Conduct

SECTION 1: Exhibits and displays all types of arms and their accessories, along with the Association membership and guest attendance, constitute the primary goals of our Association Show Meetings.

SECTION 2: Illegal arms and bulk explosives (excluding gun powder containers) shall not be brought in the Meeting Hall.

SECTION 3: The display area referred to shall be understood to comprise only the table surface or surfaces contracted for, and no other. Uncontracted for or vacated tables, other horizontal surfaces, areas under tables, aisle space, adjacent wall areas and all other similar surfaces may not be used for display.

SECTION 4: No electronic audio/visual aids or playing of videos.

SECTION 5: Any item brought to a meeting which, in the opinion of a majority of the Board Members present, is detrimental to the safety or best interest of this corporation shall be barred. No loaded firearms except for authorized security personnel.

SECTION 6: ALL firearms including airguns must be strapped. All loose ammunition shall be bagged, boxed, wrapped or under display case. Collector cartridges may be exempted by show personnel or BOD’s. No loose ammunition displayed with firearms.


Definition of acceptable arms and accessories:

Air Weapons.

American Cowboy, Indian Weapons &

Personal Artifacts (Antique only).

Ammunition.

Archery Equipment.

Armor.

Bayonets.

Books and Videos (Weapons Related).

Cartridges & Shotshells for Collectors.

Firearms of all legal types.

Firearm Curiosa.

Gun parts, sights, gun repair supply.

Knives, Swords & Daggers.

Military weapons and direct weapons related items.

Pole Arms and Battle Axes.

Powder Flasks and Horns.

Military uniforms and directly associated accoutrements related solely to conflicts in which the United States was involved. Said items are to individually displayed on mannequins or fully laid out on tables. No such items are to be stored, displayed or sold in bulk or from clothes racks.

Paintings, Pictures, Prints & Statuary - covering items on this list (Paintings, Pictures & Prints must not be modern, jewelry not permitted).

Reloading Tools and Supplies.

Belt Buckles - Dealing with items on this list only.

Scrimshaw - Dealing with items on this list only.

Bumper stickers are prohibited from all gun shows.

An exception: stickers may be sold or given away by non-profit organizations whose purpose is to promote shooting or gun ownership; stickers must be shooting or firearms related.

American sporting collectible vintage and out of production hunting, fishing and firearm manufactured items.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

Smoke bombs.

Gun powder.

Communication equipment.

No dummy ammunition in firearms.

Martial Arts items (Ninja), examples: throwing stars, numb chucks, throwing balls, etc.

Parts, kits, manuals, instruction books, etc., for the conversion of legal items to illegal items, or the making of bombs, silencers, machine guns, etc.

Books and manuals on government overthrow or anarchy!

All items prohibited by the organization rules shall be banned from the show and must be removed from the facility.

No sales to youth under the age of 18 years unless that person is accompanied by an adult.

No animals allowed other than animals used for handicapped or disabled assistance.

Reserved tables must be claimed by 9:00 A.M. Saturday (unless notified otherwise). If not, table rent is forfeited and reverts back to the M.W.C.A.

MWCA is required by law (Minnesota Statutes Chapter 297A) to obtain form ST-19 (condensed form below) from each exhibitor prior to reserving exhibit space.
